Program Description: CAF-II is the first auction to award ongoing high-cost universal service support using a multiple-round, reverse auction. Through this auction, the FCC intends to maximize the value the American people receive for the universal service dollars spent, balancing higher-quality services with cost efficiencies. Some funded areas for the CAF -II program on the Broadband Funding Map may include locations that are less than 100/20 Mbps. The Map, however, excludes CAF-II funded areas if all funded locations within the area are less than 100/20 Mbps. <\/span><\/p>

Eligibility Description: Census blocks in states where price cap carriers declined the offer of model-based support, extremely high-cost census blocks nationwide (excluding NY, AK, PR, VI), and certain other Census blocks that were removed from the offer of model-based support.<\/span><\/p>
